The word ‘mission' in a Christian context is facing a challenge as to its definition.
"‘J' has been teaching English to a lady every week, but the other week just before Christmas during one of the lessons, the subject of God came up. Over the course of two weeks, ‘J' was able to present her with the Good News. She was so hungry for truth and life and took on the Lord completely. Lessons turned into times to pray and discover more of this new life together. Please lift this lady up in prayer, particularly for her to be able to plug into a local fellowship." - ‘J & K', based in West China
This intercession trip was a true highlight in my walk with the Lord. It was so great to be on team, with the fun and camaraderie, the delight at being among the beautiful Tibetan people, and the humbling experience of meeting full-time workers. Spending so much of the day in prayer and warfare was thrilling. God is good.
Our Chinese brothers and sisters give thanks for the Christian materials we deliver and ask for our prayers as they face continuing persecution from the authorities:
Thank you so much to all who prayed with us as we sought to find an Operations Director to take responsibility for the administrative and operational side of the ministry of Antioch Missions - Chinese Church Support Ministries. We are now delighted to introduce you to Kathryn, who joined us in the second half of 2009.
