Es ist gut, dass wir Euch zu Beginn dieses neuen Jahres schreiben können. Wir hoffen, Ihr hattet ein wundervolles Weihnachtsfest und freut Euch auf das neue Jahr und erwartet Großes.
Wir möchten Euch für Eure treue Unterstützung im vergangenen Jahr danken. Wir sind so dankbar für Eure Gebete während dieser Zeit. Die schwierigen finanziellen Zeiten, in denen wir leben haben uns nicht geholfen, aber wir fahren fort mit dem, was der Herr uns zu tun aufgetragen hat.
Danke an alle, die finanziell gegeben haben. Obwohl es ein schwieriges Jahr war, war der Herr gut zu uns. Wir haben trotzdem eine Million Bücher gedruckt und verteilt und Hunderttausende DVD und Tausende Bibeln verteilt. Unser Barmherzigkeitsdienst gedeiht und wir haben nun unser drittes Pflegeheim eröffnet.
Was hält also 2012 für uns bereit? Bei Tag vier könnt Ihr mehr über unser Literaturprojekt lesen. Wie werden uns auch weiterhin in unseren Pflegeheimen um Babys und Kleinkinder kümmern und Kinder durch unsere Patenschaftsprogramme unterstützen. Wir würden uns freuen, wen sich noch mehr Menschen unseren Teams anschließen würden. Lasst uns 2012 zu einem besonderen Jahr machen, in dem wir Rekordzahlen von deutschsprachigen Teilnehmern in unseren Teams sehen, die China verändern. Es ist nun natürlich teurer, nachdem die Preise für internationale Flüge und Unterbringung gestiegen sind, aber lasst Euch davon bitte nicht abhalten. Wir glauben fest, dass der Dir die Finanzen zur Verfügung stellt, wenn Er Dich zu einem Team ruft. Wir haben schon viel wunderbare Zeugnisse gehört, wie der Herr versorgt hat; Alles, was Du tun musst, ist darum zu bitten. Wir haben auch ein neues Team vorgestellt - das ‚Komm und sieh Team'. Dies ist eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, verschiedene Bereiche unseres Dienstes in China zu sehen. Eine Chance, die man nicht verpassen sollte. Nimm für weitere Informationen Kontakt mit dem Büro auf.

It is good to be able to write to you at the start of this new year. We trust you had a wonderful Christmas and that you are now looking forward to this new year and expecting great things.
We really would like to thank you for your continued support throughout last year. We have so much appreciated your prayers over this time. The difficult financial times we are living in haven't helped us, but we press on with what the Lord has called us to do.
Thank you to all who have given financially. Although a difficult year, the Lord has been good to us. We have still managed to print and distribute one million books, as well as distribute hundreds of thousands of DVDs and thousands of Bibles. Our mercy work thrives and we have now opened our third foster home.
So what does 2012 hold for us? You can read more information on our literature programme in Day Four. We will also continue to care for the babies and young children in our foster homes as well as supporting children through our sponsorship programmes. One area we would like you to pray about is teams. We would love to see more people join us on teams. Let us make 2012 a special year when we see record numbers from German-speaking countries join our teams and make a difference in China. It is of course more expensive now due to the increase in costs of flights and accommodation, but please don't let that put you off. We firmly believe that if the Lord wants you to join a team, He will provide the finance for you to go. We have heard many wonderful testimonies of how the Lord has provided; all you have to do is ask. We have also introduced a new team - the ‘Come and See' team. This is a wonderful opportunity to come and see different areas of our ministry in China. A chance not to be missed. Contact the office for more details.
