In Genesis chapters 3-4 God asks five questions to Adam and Eve and to their son Cain. One of those questions comes in Genesis 3:13: "What is this you have done?" Interestingly the question is repeated almost word for word to their son Cain in Genesis 4:10: "What have you done?"

Bringing the Harvest to Us

China has the largest number of university students studying abroad compared to any other country in the world. A record high of 1.27 million Chinese students are currently pursuing their tertiary studies in foreign universities, according to China's Education Ministry.

We give thanks to God that the Antioch School of Missions 2011-12 will be our largest ever ASM. After applications closed at the end of March, we made the decision to accept nine students for the coming year.

Overseas Mission

"We are a brand new, white-collar church. In four years, we exceeded the 100 mark. Our missionaries in the Middle East are telling us thus far they have only been able to share the Gospel with two or three neighbours," a Chinese pastor shared.

Searching for a Bible

‘C' is a 20-year-old girl studying English at a university in central China. She is an enthusiastic and hard-working student and, in an effort to improve her English, she has made friends with several foreigners living in her city.

Showing the Love of Christ

In April, AM-CCSM led a short-term mercy team comprising of individuals from around the world. The purpose of the team was to show the love of Christ to the children and carers in the orphanage, to expose the team to Christian service in China, and to build on existing relationships between AM-CCSM and the orphanages.

‘City on a Hill’

The 1000-strong Shouwang house church in Beijing describes its vision from God as being the ‘city on a hill' mentioned in Matthew chapter 5.
