ASM Underway

As you read this, our Antioch School of Missions (ASM) 2010 will be underway. Following a year's break, we have now revamped the school and this year have students taking both the six-month and one-year courses.

The students from Australia, Malaysia, Switzerland, USA and the UK all arrived in China towards the end of last month and their classes have now started. This month four guest speakers are visiting from overseas, and two of our China-based co-workers will also be teaching. In the afternoons, the students have Chinese language classes at a local school.

It is a busy schedule with lots to take in, so please do remember the students as they continue adjusting to life in a new country, study a new language and also begin to learn about and consider the challenges of serving overseas. We trust that, as the course continues, the Lord will speak into all the students' lives in new ways and show them His purposes for their future.

Pray for all the new ASM students in their continuing adjustment to life in one of China's big cities.

Pray for the Lord to anoint each of those who will be teaching on the ASM course. Pray that their words may inspire, challenge and encourage each of the students.

Pray that the Lord will speak into the students' lives in new ways and begin to reveal His purposes for their future.

Pray that more of our supporters will begin receiving our monthly ministry prayer update and commit to pray regularly and in more depth for the various aspects of the work of AM-CCSM.
