Lives Transformed

"I came to know Jesus when I was a little child," Sister Chen told us. "But my life changed when I came to Beijing in 2000. I tried everything I could to make a living. I was far away from God. The Bible that I'd brought with me from my home town sat in a corner covered with dust.

I was often angry with my husband and I was getting more and more unsatisfied with my marriage. I often wanted to cry. I felt so weak...

Then, in June 2010, I was looking for an art class for my son. I thank God that I met Brother John who teaches art. Brother John gave me some books, including the ‘Christian Family Handbook'. I found solutions for all my problems in the book. It helped me recover my confidence in my marriage. I learned how to love my husband through reading the book and talking with the brother and sisters. Our relationship started to recover.

One year later, my loving Jesus brought me back to church after being away for so many years. I cried like a child returning to her Father's arms after wandering for many years. Now I'm filled with joy and peace. I can see that God is also working in my husband."

We praise God for the impact that the ‘Christian Family Handbook' has had on Sister Chen's life. Through this and other testimonies, we know that the Lord is using AM-CCSM's books to transform many millions of lives in China. That's why we continue to press on to print many more copies and to get them into the hands of those who most need them. In February we were able to place an order for 100,000 books. Our aim for the year remains a million copies, so we still have quite a way to go!

We also continue to distribute Bibles to the rural areas where they have little or no access to God's Word. Our last order was for 10,000 copies in February. Earlier we made a delivery to a town in Anhui province and were delighted to receive a response from the church there. They wrote:

"We're writing to express our thankful hearts to you! The number of people in our fellowship is increasing very fast and we don't have enough Bibles for everyone. But the Almighty God knows His children's needs and He showed us His grace through you. We thank God and we also thank you. We will put these Bibles to good use. Some of them will be for public use for the church members and newcomers on Sundays. And others will be given to newcomers as a gift to help them to know the truth. Thank you again!"

Thank God for the lives that are being transformed through reading the Christian teaching books that AM-CCSM has produced.

Pray that we will be able to print even more books and that each one will powerfully impact people in China.

Pray for those who still do not have access to their own copy of the Bible. Pray for provision to meet their need.

Pray for those who are struggling in life, with finding a job, with marriage or with other issues. Pray that the Word of God and Biblical teaching materials will help them to find His peace and the strength to face their problems.
