Using AM-CCSM's Materials

Posted on 16 June 2009.

Ms ‘E' heads up a house church training school in East China. She graduated from one of China's official TSPM seminaries some years ago and started the training school in 2002.

The school is held in a factory run by a Christian businessman. In the mornings, the students work in the factory and in the afternoons they attend class. Over 700 people have already graduated from the school. Eighty people are currently being taught in face-to-face classes in the school, while another 200 are taking part in correspondence courses. AM-CCSM's teaching books are used as the basis of the curriculum and are also distributed to all the correspondence students.

Ms ‘S' came to know the Lord in 1999. She had been blind in one eye for a long time, but on the day of her baptism the Lord healed her. Some years later, she started to travel to different parts of the country to preach. She discovered many places are very lacking in Bibles and Christian teaching materials. Since then we have helped her to distribute 3-4,000 of our books to her contacts.

Mr ‘G' is the leader of a large house church in Beijing. His church is currently focussing on providing teaching about family life and raising children, with a plan to reach out to their local community with a counselling and training programme. They too are making use of materials AM-CCSM has provided, not just in their own church, but also by passing them on to contacts in other cities.

Mr ‘J' was involved in the Tiananmen student movement in 1989. In his disillusionment at the terrible events that followed, he determined, "If there is a God, I want to know Him, and I will do whatever God wants me to do." But it took another six years and much study of other religions before one of his classmates returned from the US and shared the Gospel with him. Now he is leading a small fellowship group. He told us how thankful he was to be able to have some of our books to help him when the group started.

Thank the Lord for the real difference AM-CCSM's books are making in the lives of Christians across the whole of China. Pray that testimonies like those mentioned here might be repeated many times over as more materials are delivered to the Chinese believers.

Continue to pray for the Lord's provision and clear guidance for our literature ministry. Please consider whether you can make a donation to help us bring Biblical teaching to those who have so little access to such materials.

Pray for the four Christian leaders introduced in this section. May each one know the Lord's encouragement and blessing as they seek to share His Word and bring the message of Good News to those around them.
