AM-CCSM News

Posted on 28 July 2009.

Have you checked out www.amccsm.org recently? Our new website has now been launched and you'll find plenty of new sections to investigate.

As well as reading information about various aspects of the ministry, you can also view the new AM-CCSM videos, check out the latest news from China, and sign up to receive our prayer updates by email. There's also a new facility for online donations. So please do have a look and then let others know about it!

International team dates for 2010 are also now available from your local AM-CCSM base. Teams will take place in January, April, July/August and October/November. Each of the teams lasts just two weeks to make it more convenient for you to arrange vacation time from work. And it's not too late to sign up for the courier, mercy and intercession teams planned for October 2009. So please contact your local office to find out more details.

August is holiday time for many in the northern hemisphere and that includes our China-based co-workers. Quite a number have returned to their home countries for a break and to visit family, friends and their home churches. Five of our co-workers will be moving cities during the summer break. Two of our English teachers are moving to a new university and three other workers are moving to join a new project caring for disabled children and their parents. Please remember all these people during this time of change.

Pray that our new website will attract many new visitors who will be challenged to involvement in serving the church and people of China.

Pray for a good number of people to sign up for the October 2009 short-term teams and all the 2010 teams. Ask the Lord if there's someone with whom you could share about the opportunity to join these teams.

Remember our China-based co-workers during this holiday season. Pray for times of rest and refreshment, whether they are heading to their home country or remaining in China. Pray too for those who are facing the challenge of moving cities. May the Lord provide for them in every way.
