Our first international short-term team of 2010 is heading to China at the beginning of this month. With participants from four different countries, we ask for prayer for team unity, as well as for good health in the very cold weather that usually hits large parts of China at this time of year. The team will be carrying Christian materials to believers in several different cities, as well as praying through the areas that they travel in.

As a new year begins, please give some thought as to whether you should be joining one of this year's teams. During 2010, we are planning courier, mercy, intercession, trekking, biking and leaders' teams, so we trust there will be at least one team to interest you. If you can't go yourself (and even if you can!), please consider recommending our teams to your friends and others in your church family. Contact your local AM-CCSM office for further details.

Our next Antioch School of Missions will begin in August 2010 and applications should be in by the end of February, so if you are considering joining the school, please contact your local base as soon as possible. Remember this year we are offering three different programs - a six-month ‘mini' program, an eleven-month ‘gap' program and an eleven-month ‘full' program. We would appreciate your prayer as we look for a pastoral care coordinator to be based at the ASM school in China and assume primary pastoral responsibility for the well-being of the ASM students and also for other company members based in the city. The pastoral care coordinator will work closely with the ASM leaders and would ideally need to be in China for the full program duration of 11 months each year. As with all our China-based co-workers, applicants would be expected to raise their own financial support to cover living expenses and to have the full backing of their home church. Remember the short-term team in China this month. Pray for protection, good health, team unity, anointing as they pray, and for the safe delivery of all the materials.

Pray for many people to respond to the Lord's call to serve Him on AM-CCSM's short-term teams to China this year. Consider carefully whether He is calling you to step out in faith. And ask Him who you could make aware of this possibility for service.

Pray for those who are considering a longer-term call to China through the Antioch School of Missions. May the Lord clearly guide and provide for all their needs.

Pray for the Lord's provision of a suitable person/couple to act as pastoral care coordinators for the ASM school.
