Forthcoming Teams

There are only a few weeks left to get in your application for the July teams. Don't forget that this time we're offering five different types of teams, so there's a whole range of options to consider.

Have you heard about our Experience Mercy teams? Rather than ministering in just one orphanage or other location, these new teams give you the opportunity to visit several places and have your eyes opened to various different kinds of mercy work. You'll see some of the projects our China-based co-workers are involved in and join with them in making a long-term difference in the lives of orphans, needy children, delinquent teenagers, the disabled... As you help to bring God's love into these challenging situations, you'll play a vital part in changing lives. Remember too the new Impact! Cycle China teams, where our China-based team leaders will take you into rural areas that few foreigners get to visit. You'll pray in strategic places and ask God to bring His light into dark situations, and then head out to meet those who have yet to hear the Good News of the Gospel.

If you enjoy trekking in high places, then consider joining our intercessory trekking team, which will be going into a remote mountain region to visit an unreached ethnic minority group. What a contrast between the breathtaking scenery of God's creation and the spiritual darkness in which these unreached people live!

If you've a heart to see breakthrough amongst the Tibetan people groups, then do consider our intercession team, which will be travelling in the Tibetan region. You'll have a chance to hear from our China-based co-workers about the tremendous needs in these areas and then turn your new knowledge into heartfelt prayer.

Or have you been challenged by the many pleas for teaching from our Chinese brothers and sisters? Then join a courier team to bring Christian teaching books to the local believers.

Our desire in offering all these various opportunities for you to serve on AM-CCSM teams is that China will be transformed by the Gospel. Pray for many people to join the teams this July, so that we can have a powerful impact for God's Kingdom.

Pray that the Lord will begin to prepare the hearts of those Chinese people the teams will meet in July. Pray for ears that will be open to hear and understand God's Word, allowing His Spirit to be at work with His transforming power.

Pray for all those who will join the teams. Pray that their hearts too will be prepared, that they might step out in obedience and play their part in helping to complete the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus.
