Unforgettable Journeys

During April, a team of young people from the UK headed for China for a couple of weeks. They wanted to see how God is at work in China and to play a part in building His Kingdom there.

So one of our team leaders took them to visit AM-CCSM's long-term co-workers in four different locations.

The young people saw how some of our China-based team are reaching out with God's love to the Tibetans and they joined in prayer for breakthrough for this unreached people group. They did some very practical work to help prepare the soil for planting with another team of co-workers working in a very poor area of north-western China. And they were challenged as they met with local Chinese believers who shared their visions.

It is great to see the Lord speaking into these young lives and challenging them to grow into all that He has planned for them! The team leader shared: "I consider it a great privilege to have been invited to lead this team. It was amazing to observe God at work in the young peoples' lives."

Later this year in October we are offering another exciting opportunity to travel to China and see God at work. This time we are inviting church pastors, leaders and mission directors to join AM-CCSM leaders with many years of China experience on an unforgettable journey to discover more about what is probably the fastest-growing church in the world. Give thanks for the group of young people who responded to the challenge and gave two weeks to serve God in China.

Pray that each team member would hear clearly from the Lord how He would have them continue their journey with Him. May they respond in obedience and step out in faith to follow Him wherever He leads.

Pray for the upcoming pastors' team in October. Pray that word about the team would reach many Christian leaders and ask God what your part might be in inviting people to attend.

Pray that leaders would join the team and be changed, as they see how God is at work in this country of great church growth combined with massive physical and spiritual poverty.
