It is good to be able to write to you at the start of this new year. We trust you had a wonderful Christmas and that you are now looking forward to this new year and expecting great things.
We really would like to thank you for your continued support throughout last year. We have so much appreciated your prayers over this time. The difficult financial times we are living in haven't helped us, but we press on with what the Lord has called us to do.
Thank you to all who have given financially. To those who have given anonymously, please take this as a thank you, as we are unable to write to you.
Although a difficult year, the Lord has been good to us. We have still managed to print and distribute one million books, as well as distribute hundreds of thousands of DVDs and thousands of Bibles. Our mercy work thrives and we have now opened our third foster home.
So what does 2012 hold for us? You can read more information on our literature programme in Day Four. We will also continue to care for the babies and young children in our foster homes as well as supporting children through our sponsorship programmes. One area we would like you to pray about is teams. We would love to see more people join us on teams. Let us make 2012 a year when a record number of people from the US join our teams and make a difference in China. It is of course more expensive now due to the increase in cost of flights and accommodation, but please don't let that put you off. We firmly believe that if the Lord wants you to join a team, He will provide the finance for you to go. We have heard many wonderful testimonies of how the Lord has provided; all you have to do is ask. We have also introduced a new team - the ‘Come and See' team. This is a wonderful opportunity to come and see different areas of our ministry in China. A chance not to be missed. Contact the office for more details.
This year we have four students from the USA on our Antioch School of Missions (ASM). You still have time to apply to join ASM 2012-13. Check out the web site at www.asmchina.org for more details or contact the office.

Es bueno poder escribirles a comienzos de este nuevo año. Confiamos que hayan tenido una maravillosa época de Navidad y nos encaminamos hacia este nuevo año con grandes expectativas.
Deseamos agradecerles por su apoyo durante el año pasado. Hemos apreciado mucho sus oraciones. Estos tiempos difíciles en que nos encontramos nos han impedido de alguna manera hacer todo lo que quisiéramos, aunque seguimos haciendo lo que el Señor nos ha llamado hacer.
Gracias a todos quienes nos han apoyado financieramente; a los que han dado de manera anónima, por favor tome esta nota como agradecimiento, puesto que nos queda imposible agradecerle directamente.
A pesar que ha sido un año difícil, el Señor ha sido bueno con nosotros. Hemos podido manejar la impresión y distribución de un millón de libros, así como distribuir cientos de miles de DVD's y miles de ejemplares de la biblia. Nuestro trabajo de misericordia prospera y hemos podido abrir nuestro tercer hogar para niños.
Que nos deparará el 2012? Puede leer mayor información sobre nuestro programa literario bajo el título del Día Cuatro. También continuaremos con el cuidado de bebés e infantes en nuestros hogares de adopción, así como aquellos vinculados a los programas de patrocinio. Un tema sobre el cual nos gustaría su oración es por los equipos, ya que nos gustaría tener más personas uniéndose con nosotros. Hagamos un año 2012 que sea un año record de gente de los Estados Unidos uniéndose a los equipos de China para ser una diferencia en esa nación. Ciertamente es más duro ahora, con los costos crecientes en vuelos y hospedaje, pero no deje que esa situación le dañe su oportunidad. Creemos firmemente que si el Señor quiere que usted se una a los equipos, El proveerá las finanzas necesarias para que usted vaya. Hemos escuchado de muchos testimonios de cómo el Señor ha provisto y Ud. solamente debe pedírselo. También hemos dado inicio a un nuevo equipo, el llamado ‘Venga y vea'.
